Hi, I'm Luis
I work as a project manager. I am a parent. I am an expat living in Porto, Portugal.
Several years ago, I moved here with my family. What began as a temporary contract gradually evolved into a new chapter of life abroad.
How It Started
Moving to Portugal wasn't in the original plan. Like many international moves, it started as a job opportunity and soon grew into something far more significant.
The early months were demanding — new processes, new routines, new expectations. Daily chores seemed more challenging than expected.
The Adjustment Period
There was culture shock, doubt, and plenty of hands-on learning. Yet over time, routines took shape. We found spots that suited us, connected with other families, and began crafting something that felt steady.
Why I Built Winny Ozysis Ur
Most online guidance was either corporate relocation advice or shallow tourism content. What was missing was a candid, everyday family viewpoint.
This site aims to bridge that gap — practical guidance drawn from real life in Portugal.
